HTC Touch Diamond Now in India

The Touch Diamond sports a 3D touch interface called "TouchFLO 3D" that promises animated access to people, messaging, email, photos, music, weather, and more.
The recently announced HTC Touch Diamond is now available in India exclusively on the Airtel network.
The Touch Diamond sports a 3D touch interface called "TouchFLO 3D" that promises animated access to people, messaging, email, photos, music, weather, and more. The device comes with a 2.8-inches VGA touch screen, 3.2 mega pixels auto-focus camera, 4GB internal storage, and integrated GPS for turn-by-turn satellite navigation, and operates on Windows Mobile 6.1.
HTC claims the phone weighs around 110g and is about 102 by 51 by 11.33mm in size. It comes loaded with a new customized mobile Web browser that promises easy viewing and effortless navigation of Web sites. Users can zoom and pan Web sites and view content made to fit the display. Turn the device sideways, and the Web page automatically rotates from a portrait to landscape view. The Touch Diamond offers a customized, HTC-developed YouTube application for viewing a variety of user-generated videos as also Google Maps for mapping data.

The HTC Touch Diamond will be available through Airtel for Rs 27,500 at all authorized HTC resellers.

People ... u guys need to stop comparing the HTc with the iphone.. they are meant for different end users.. the iphone is a chic phone.. The Htc is a PDA/smart phone.. have u guys even checked out the freeware that u can download and run on the touch series.. i have an HTc touch and it runs like a dream.. Have so far loaded some 4000 contacts, back up of contacts/calender/email/data sync on windows mobile center.. loaded some hazaar shit/good softwares.. squeezed out precious storage /programme space.. unistalled the stupid softwares.. dropped it at the beach.. cleared storage.. now its a brand new phone, whew.....am waiting for the pro or the diamonds price to drop & i will definitely buy it... No comparision to any phone...if any body is having trouble in service or software issues,in mumbai or say queries as to how to move around the phone.. do write in.. only one condition.. u need to be a techie.. i dont have time for rookies.. if u don't have use for a PDA dont buy one!!

The HTC support by RT Outsourcing has to take the Cake for the most PATHETIC after sales support in the Whole World. HTC phones are best avoided for their abysmal service by a bunch of incompetent nincoompoops.

Da phn is available 4 abt Rs32000/- in Delhi, Chandigarh... Too xpensive jus coz of looks nd a 3.2mp cam.. try LG KS20, almost half da price, widout GPS n a 2 mp cam, sound quality n level, is much hygher thn diamond, n gud lukin too

dude... stop comparing shit with this phone!!!! does that phone you been talking has the enough power to match this phone... it has a GPU on core which makes it a rock solid from core.... think twice before commenting... and it is costly coz not yet launched in india and ppl are ready to pay anything to get it in their hand... just to show off... like most of us urged for iPhone which is a shit packed in a nice box!

This launch might give a wake up call to apple to launch their IPhone in india, This launch might affect the IPhone's sales in india as Apple haven't launched the IPhone yet. Saw its demo videos on a website, pretty impressive phone, its touch flo is not as smooth as IPhone but it has an added advantage of being a Business Phone running on windows.
