HDFC Bank had partnered "ngpay" earlier this year to enable its customers purchase air/rail/movie tickets; buy gifts and flowers; and pay bills using their bank accounts and credit cards.
A new service has been launched allowing customers secure fund transfers through mobile phones; it works on phones with GPRS across all telecom networks. "ngpay" has been developed by Bangalore-based JiGrahak Mobility Solutions.
"Ngpay" is a free software, which when loaded on to your mobile phone allows you conduct transactions on the move with merchants, banks, and service providers through a simple, consolidated menu on the mobile. Services such as buying mutual funds, accessing bank accounts, shopping, ticketing and payments are also enabled.

Hay dude, i have downloaded and registered the application its cool man.... it has HDFC money transfer facility which is awesome.....it does not even cost much for browsing..

dude, where are these comments coming from? The app did not work for him, are the employees of ngpay too busy commenting on their own product to call this poor guy back? I like the idea but it needs to wrk for real consumers

Dude, which handset you are using? I am using this killer app from last 2 years on Nokia 6030 and so far no issues. Please check with your operator.

I have been using this killer app for the past one year and have become its ardent fan. Booked a lot of movie tickets through them off late. Its quite overwhelming to read such a review. Though I am using it on Nokia N73 but the remarkable part is that one of my friends has been able to use it through Nokia 6610i, a really low end 3 year old phone. There must be some issue with the GRRS service of your telco or you are still using your 5 year old cordless.
