Grand Theft Auto IV Leaked!

It wasn't meant to happen -- not now -- but it did! The much awaited "Grand Theft Auto IV" (GTA 4) for Xbox 360 has hit the Internet already. Although there's still a week left for the game to release officially, the pirated version for it is now available on the World Wide Web. But as of now, we cannot verify whether the game is fully playable.
Courtesy a group called "iCON", GTA 4's pirated copy of 6.32GB file size was uploaded to be available on several torrents. However, only the PAL version of the title is floating around the Internet for now; rumors suggest that the NTSC version might also be up for grabs before the official release of the game.
According to reports, this isn't the first time a GTA title has made its way into the hands of fans before the scheduled release. Nevertheless, reactions to this breaking news indicate that gamers are quite surprised that the game has been leaked.
Incidentally, the pirates of "iCON" warn that it shouldn't be played on Xbox Live because it could be detected by Microsoft and Rockstar. And they sum it up with, "guys, seriously, go and buy this one." Ironically, "iCON" recommends buying this title when it hits the stores. Perhaps they should have added a "pun intended" note at the bottom as well.

Whoever even tries to download this game is not only extremely cheap and obviously poor but also very wrong for trying to ruin hours and hours of rockstars work!! they rare awsum and u know it otherwise you wouldnt download the game!!! so give them some respect hey

It makes me sick think it took Rockstar 3 and a half years to make this game and people are going to download it for free after all their hard work.

well i have the gta4 pirated i'm still going to buy a copy because its so awsome but i was desprate and i couldn' wait the game is worth 120 cash man i am a gamer to the heart and if this isn't the game of the that was needed since the last one go get it. the hype if truly real.

Stupid Rockstar give first preference to Consoles why not release it on all platforms X360/PS3/PC at once?

In a way I'm happy that this Game is leaked it I suppose Rockstar deserves it for ripping of us PC Gamers by not offering us the game with the PS3 release.

The pirate works for one of the mass dvd duplicators or one of the companys stuffing the dvd boxes.

Temptation is powerful. In a sense, R* should be honored their game was desired so much, that it was leaked early just like other great hits such as Halo 3, COD4. There are only X amount of pirates, it won't hurt sales much, they are surely the minority.

The shops don't have the games weeks beforehand. Where did you hear that? The shops get the game three or four days before its actual release.

Its not about being careless, its about having stupid people working for you, the only way this has managed to leak is because someone who worked for the game as uploaded a copy to a bittorrent, the game isnt even available yet, and i doubt people have gotten their pre-ordered copies yet, Rockstar arent careless its just naivity.
