Google Trends, which is useful for finding out how popular certain search terms are across various geographic regions and languages, has now been updated to a new version that will also offer numbers along with regular graphics details. Users need to type in the name or the search term they're interested in and Google Trends will automatically display a graph along with numbers showing how frequently those names or terms have been searched for over the Internet. Users can see the numbers on the graph itself, as well as download the graph onto a spreadsheet after signing into their Google account. To know how these nifty new features work, check the official blog. The new version of Google Trends also enables users to compare various search terms to see how popularity of a particular term differs across geographical boundaries and languages. The comparison can be done by exporting the numerical data into a common spreadsheet format.
