Seems God too is gravitating towards social networking!

Newly launched in cyberspace is a Web site called Godkut.com, which aims to be the world's most advanced faith-based social network.

With a slogan that reads: "It's about time God took over social networking! Isn't it?," Godkut intends to be a unique platform allowing people to freely express their faith online.

Open to people across the globe, the Web site is offering free lifetime membership. Its mission statement is to build the world's largest faith-based social network, wherein people can connect with each other and with God.

With features like online audio, video, and image sharing, Godkut aims at collating the best user-generated content around God, building it into a library of sorts, which anyone can access at any point in time.

Other features of Godkut include video recorder, instant messaging, forums and chatrooms, blogs, polls, whiteboards, etc.

Godkut Founder, Hinesh Jethwani, said the site couldn't have been launched at a better time with holiday season all over the world, and 'love' and 'peace' in the air that they hope to only spread further through Godkut.

Apart from individuals, churches, ministries, spiritual, and religious institutions from around the world will be able to represent themselves online on Godkut.

Meanwhile, the site is not only for goody two shoes types but also for agnosts and atheists, who are welcome to share their point of view, albeit in a manner respectful of others, and other faiths.
