The Wireless DJ Music System connects PC to home-entertainment center or speaker system using plug-n-play wireless technology.

Logitech has launched a new Wireless DJ Music System that can stream digital music from a PC to any stereo system.

The Wireless DJ Music System connects your PC to your home-entertainment center or speaker system using plug-n-play wireless technology. It can play any PC audio format, including MP3, iTunes (AAC), WMA, Internet radio, and podcasts.

The system also includes a long-range wireless DJ remote featuring a blue backlighted LCD and mechanical scroll wheel for easy navigation of the music collection.

The remote also includes an active playlists feature, called the DJ List. It allows users to add songs or albums to the queue without stopping the music. It's equipped with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which you can recharge in the music receiver or dock.

The supplied Stream Point software, which runs on the PC, aggregates audio files, playlists, and Internet radio stations from iTunes, Windows Media Player, and Musicmatch Jukebox. It creates a unified music library that you can view and access using the remote.

Today, tens of millions of people are using their PC as a digital music hub to centralize their music collections and to discover new music. But most people don't have their PC connected to their home-entertainment system.

A recent worldwide survey conducted by Parks Associates revealed that 40% of online households play music files on their PC and 33% listen to Internet radio streams. However, less than 10% of these people play this music through their stereo. The music remains stuck on the PC, away from the primary entertainment system.

Therefore, Logitech believes that the Wireless DJ Music System will offer such users access their entire music collection anywhere in the home.

Logitech's Wireless DJ Music System is available at all leading electronic stores for a price of Rs.15,995.
