Banned Xbox 360 Unusable on Xbox LIVE If you ve been wondering why your modded Xbox 360 won't connect to Xbox LIVE, Microsoft has a straight answer for it. Larry Hryb (Major Nelson), director of programming, Xbox LIVE, on his blog, noted that Microsoft is actively banning the modded or hacked consoles meant to play pirated game copies. Also, the Xbox 360 consoles once banned won't be usable again on Xbox LIVE. This raises a flag to avoid buying modded Xbox 360 consoles. Xbox 360 console warranty is non-transferable. So, if you've bought a modded console which was banned earlier, won't connect to Xbox LIVE again.
