As the holiday week approaches, game publishers have slowly started disclosing their much awaited game titles. Assassin's Creed II has been made available for multiple platforms and has reached over 1.6 million gamers in it's first week of release.  

Take a quick look at the snapshot of gaming for the week that just went.  

Delayed by over a year, Square Enix's sandbox game play involving Just Cause's sequel is due to arrive in March next year. This game would be released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC platforms. Start off as special agent Rico Rodriguez who's on mission to eliminate dictator of Paneau - Tom Sheldon. The game lets the player devise attack strategy with unique grapple and parachute combination, chopper hijacks and much more.  

 

Console gamers would be delighted to know that the recently announced Sony PlayStation 3 Slim gaming console will be available in India for Rs. 19,990. It should be noted that the existing PlayStation 3 gaming console is already offered for the same price. However, the catch is that the normal PS3 console costs Rs. 19,990 and bundles along free copies of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue and Uncharted: Drakes Fortune. To be noted that the PS3 Slim doesn't offer PS2 games compatibility and Linux installation support.

 

 

Sony released new firmware 6.20 for PlayStation Portable gaming console that brought Digital Comics Reader. Residing in the Extras section of PSP's XMB, this new Digital Comics Reader offers a free digital comics copy to U.S. and Europe based PSP users. U.S. and Europe based users can head to www.playstationcomics.com to get their free code.  

Razer Imperator Mouse is meant for the right-handed gamers, has 3.5G Laser sensor for accurate mouse precision and features two adjustable buttons. Xbox Avatars get Transformers Clothing

Xbox 360 owners can now deck up their Avatars with Transformers Helmet and Tshirts. From today Xbox LIVE Marketplace offers Autobots and Decepticons helmets as well as T shirts for Xbox Avatars. Helmets are available for 240 MS Points and the T-shirts are available for 80 MS Points. 

 

Ubisoft's heavily anticipated game Assassin's Creed II has been made available in India. Featuring new protagonist Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the game takes to 15 century Italy at the time of Renaissance. The pricing details of the game are as follows:
