E63 has E71's form factor minus the sleek metal body, the 3.2 megapixel auto-focus camera, GPS, HSDPA, and the price

A year or two back, if one were to imagine a business phone with a keypad, the image that would come to mind would be of something bulky and boxy. Blackberry, to a certain extent, changed that perception, but remained beyond the reach of the common masses. Then came the Nokia E61i, one of the best value-for-money business phones of all time, but again the aesthetics wouldn't warrant it a second look. Expecting something stylish from Nokia was asking for too much, so everyone thought. Along came the E71, stunning one and all. Nobody was surprised at its runaway success, and it still features on the wishlist of a lot of people.

The Nokia E63 is the younger brother of our favorite smartphone, the Nokia E71. Subtract the sleek metal body, the 3.2 megapixel auto-focus camera, GPS, and HSDPA from the Nokia E71 and add a 3.5mm headphone jack, and voila, you have Nokia's new E63.

The E63 is aimed at those who prefer the E71's form factor, but find it a bit too expensive for their budget, which is why Nokia has dropped some of the features and retained the design and form factor along with all the essential features that made the E71 such a success. So, will E63 perform just as well as the E71? We bring you the answer...

Pricesbolo: the price ranges from Rs. 10,865/- to 14,339/- Lack of volume buttons is a small drawback. Software can be further improvised, Sybian interface needs a lot of tweaking
