First Laptop with 128GB SSD

Toshiba's "Dynabook SS RX" notebook is claimed to be the first laptop in the world with such a high capacity SSD -- 128GB.
Toshiba has announced a new model of its "Dynabook SS RX" notebook (NB) series that features a 128GB solid-state drive (SSD) -- Toshiba claims this is the first laptop in the world having such a high capacity SSD.
The "Dynabook SS RX1" is also very slim; enough to compete with the likes of Apple's MacBook Air and Lenovo's X300. And, the size of the SSD is twice that offered by these competitors.
Powered by a 1.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo U7600 processor, the "SS RX1" is equipped with 2GB RAM, Intel 945GMS Express chipset with built-in GMA video card, 12.1-inches wide-screen LCD with 1280 x 800 (WXGA) resolution, DVD optical drive, and fingerprint reader.
Running on the Windows Vista Business Edition, the NB promises battery life of up to 12.5 hours, and offers an option for CDMA-powered mobile Broadband.
The "Dynabook SS RX1" is expected to launch in Japan next month for around $4,000.
Meanwhile, Intel is said to be working on a new line of SSDs for notebooks -- with capacities up to 160GB. Reports say the company will introduce 1.8-inches and 2.5-inches SSDs with capacities ranging between 80GB and 160GB during the second quarter of this year.
