First 10 MP Cam-Phone by Samsung

Samsung has launched the world's first 10 megapixel mobile phone "SCH-B600" in the Korean market.
In addition, the SCH-B600 comes fitted with an LED auto-focus located next to the lens. It assists users to capture clear, crisp photos even in dark settings. Also, it automatically determines the distance and utilizes the appropriate focus setting for optimal photo shooting.
The new Blue-tooth enabled camera phone supports white balance, manual focus, continuous picture-taking, and interval picture-taking functions.
The SCH-B600 also features the high color Reproduction TFT-LCD produces the highest possible display for its size. The photo-fine chromic LCD reproduces 16 million colors and the moving pictures can be recorded in QVGA resolution at 15-30 frames per second.
The other features of SCH-B600 include support for external memory (MMCmicro), TV-out function where users can connect their phones to view still or motion pictures, while the other advanced functions include an MP3 player, business card reader, and 128 polyphonic sounds.
The Samsung SCH-B600 with 10 megapixel camera is priced at around 900,000 won (Rs. 42,968) in Korea.
Samsung has also credited some other achievements to its list that includes Samsung being the first company to introduce camera phones, 5 megapixel camera phone (October 2004), and 7 megapixel camera phone (July 2005).

good features , but if you have to get everybody grabbing one , the price will have to come down , it's too expensive at the moment. may by June 2007 , the price will be halved.It's nothing but economics. besides there will be more players in the market

Amazing phone! But at ?500 in Korea l wouldn't like to think what they'd charge here in the UK!! I've always had rubbish phones, l've been waiting for a really decent camera phone to arrive and this may be it. Better start saving!
