There are some job seekers who believe their credentials will make their black and white resume stand out. And then there are some who like to dress up their resume, and let its flamboyance set them apart from the masses.
If you fall under the latter category, it won't seem such a wild idea to create a resume in PowerPoint, with pictures, audio, and other such to prop up your qualifications and experience.
Mind you, if you actually go in for these decorations, it's going to be one heavy resume. So how do you share it courier it to them on a CD?
Well, there's a company called authorSTREAM that claims to offer a facility that allows you to send your fancy resume easily through email. In fact, the company claims you can send files up to 1 GB hassle-free in minutes, without worrying about the Internet speed.
authorSTREAM claims to offer an option which allows you to share the heavy files drafted in PowerPoint. It also allows users to post presentations to video-sharing platforms, as well as view them on Apple iPod and other handheld devices.
Once a profile or resume has been drafted in PowerPoint, the company claims users can simply log in to their account on the authorSTREAM website and upload it within minutes to share it with people.
