Epson has announced the launch of the Epson EMP-X3, a compact XGA 3LCD projector.
Epson has announced the launch of the Epson EMP-X3, a compact XGA 3LCD projector.
The Epson EMP-X3 is capable of a four-second startup and almost zero-second shutdown with an "Instant Off" feature. Epson's E-TORL (Epson-Twin Optimize Reflection Lamp) together with the 3LCD Technology, combine to project brighter (up to 2000 ANSI), sharper and more vivid images.
Three-panel Liquid Crystal Display is a projection system using three LCD panels. A projector with the 3LCD system uses dichroic mirrors to break the white light from the lamp into red, green and blue light, which is then re-combined by a prism, before being projected onto the screen.
The projector offers seven pre-set color modes namely Photo, Presentation, Theatre, Sports, Game, sRGB and Blackboard. The Epson EMP-X3 is targeted at users who require mobile presentation equipment.
A K Harish, business manager - projectors, Epson India, said, "Despite easily being the most affordable projector in its class, the speedy Epson EMP-X3 still urges to please with its high quality and efficient performance."
The Epson EMP-X3 is available at all authorized Epson dealers at Rs 95,000.
