I picked up a Toshiba Satellite L500 sporting the new Intel Core i3 the morning of Jan 2, 2010 from Future Shop. The Windows Experience Index for the processor is sitting at 6.2 but the i3's integrated GPU, (the laptop's slowest component) limits the L500 to a base WEI score of 4.6. Still... it flys quite smartly. Unfortunately, unless you are Andre the Giant, the keyboard is almost completely useless.

Don't you mean "reigning" instead of "raining;" unless this is a special computer "term"?

  • Why would you prefer buying an iPod Touch over an iPhone?
  • I don't, iPod Touch is redundant when you can buy good media phones

It is cheaper/It's better value for money

I don't want to drain my phone's battery for entertainment
