Another one for the PowerPoint-er on the go
Pocket-sized projectors have been jumping out at us these past couple of months and have even been packed into cell phones. Dell, too, joins this envied (?) brigade, launching the new M109S SVGA pocket projector in the US yesterday.
The M109S weighs in at around 360 grams, runs at a resolution of 858 x 600 and can even draw power from your Dell Latitude or Vostro power adaptor if you need it to. The bulb is a mercury-free affair that will let you project 60-inch (diagonally) images to distances up to 8 feet, and will last four years (unless you're clumsy).
It isn't exactly the best-looking projector of the current lot (3M's is, well, mmm), and at $499 (Rs 24,000), isn't exactly the most appealing bargain, either. We recommend you call ahead and ask if there's a projector available where you're going. Or just stop making those boring presentations and do the world a favor.
