Dell Mini-Notebook This Week?

Rumors are that Dell is entering a fast-growing market for inexpensive, no-frills portables that offer Internet capabilities at low prices.
With all the major companies getting into the netbook market, Dell too seems to be busy trying to do the same. Latest reports claim that Dell is all to set to enter the netbook market with a mini-notebook PC scheduled to launch as early as this week.
People in the know told Wall Street Journal that Dell is entering a fast-growing market for inexpensive, no-frills portables that offer Internet capabilities at low prices. The new device will most likely sell for less than $400.
Further, they said that the mini-notebook will feature a screen size slightly less than 9-inch and will be available with either Microsoft's Windows OS or Linux OS.
Another source familiar with the launch said that it was first scheduled in June, but was delayed as the manufacturing process was yet to be finalized. This product was first revealed in an email from Box.net, the company into online services like photo and document storage. The company's email said that these services would come pre-installed on the mini-notebook from Dell.

Thats all about business. Dell has already become the competent for laptops in the market and now it is seeming to freeze its step in notebooks market as well. But the lauch of Dell notebooks would be a good news for people who are looking to purchase cheap and relaible notebooks
