DIR-300 Wireless Router from D-Link

This Wireless G router lets you easily set up your wireless network and share your broadband connection.
D-Link India, a major player in the networking hardware segment, today launched a Wireless G router -- the DIR-300 -- targeted mainly at home and small office users. The device allows one to share a broadband Internet connection among multiple computers wirelessly by connecting it to a cable or DSL modem.
The router features Stateful Packet Inspection as well as a firewall, thwarting attack. A key feature of the DIR-300 is its advanced parental control, which gives parents the ability to restrict access to inappropriate content.
The DIR-300 also allows users to share an Internet connection via Ethernet. It is based on the 802.11g standard, and is backwards-compatible with 802.11b. It supports wireless encryption standards such as WEP, WPA, and WPA2. The unit comes with a quick router setup wizard utility that helps users set up the unit for their network and the Internet with just a few clicks.
Key specifications of the DIR-300 include Smart QoS, SPI Firewall Protection, Wi-Fi Protected setup, advanced scheduling and user level control, WPA (TKIP) and WPA2 (AES) support, support for VPN Pass-through, Interactive Install Guide, and UPnP Support. It is Window Vista certified and Xbox Live certified.
The D-Link DIR-300 is on the market, priced at about Rs 2,625 plus taxes.

I want the details of the wireless.I have connected the device and how much area (in radius it transmits singal to the system),some others are getting the signal to the outer systems , can i know how to stop to others systems,

nothing new, I guess BSNL offers something cheaper than this. Somehow dlink products always seem overpriced. I bought a netger wireless router(without dsl modem) for 1900/- ion onct 2007 and at that time dlink was costlier for the similar features. I use airtel dsl modem. Its a great router combined with my Dell Latitude D620.

Nothing special about this. It would have been, if they provide ability to combine 2 internet connection to provide fail safe.

UTStarcom is a china product. WA300G4 offered by BSNL as a wireless connection that needs no other modem and has facility to connect to ethernet card as well. This is beautiful solution as compared to DIR-300 where you would need connection with another modem requiring another battery eliminator. What we need is more range upto 100 yards and single unit like UTstar combining modem and everything in one piece.
