Creative has launched the Sound Blaster X-Fi Go!, a portable USB sound card announced earlier at the IFA 2008, in Berlin last month. Jonathon 'Fatal1ty' Wendell has 'tested' X-Fi Go! and the product even meets the approval of the Championship Gaming Series.

The Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Go! is priced at Rs 4,699 and will be distributed by Cyberstar Infocom Pvt Ltd & India Digital Lifestyle Distributors Pvt Ltd. Bundled applications include: Creative Alchemy software for surround sound in Windows Vista, Creative Karaoke Player, Creative Mediasource 5/Organizer and Creative WaveStudio. Voice morphing in games or while chatting online is also facilitated by built-in VoiceFX technology. This sound card also supports EAX and is thus immediately of use with the healthy catalogue of games that support the Creative tech (over 400 games, as per Creative).
