Cowon S9 from iAudio is yet another Apple iPod Touch contender after the recently announced Zune HD. Like Apple release new firmware, iAudio too has released new 2.30 firmware update for Cowon S9. The new firmware update brings bunch of tweaks and features for the portable music player.

Cowon S9 owners need to update their players with 2.30 firmware for getting little tweaks and improvements. Now, the music player shows track title in the in matrix browser which is used for browsing files by album art. Music can now be played album-wise. When compared with Apple's coverflow for browsing between album art, Cowon brings Matrix browsing feature for checking out music tracks by album art.

Video tone can be sharpened or softened via the settings. Feedback speed has improved when music or video is paused. One can skip files by Swing motion in portrait mode. A picture drawn in notepad can be set as wallpaper. A new G-sensor game called hunter is added.

Fixes also come with the update like ID3 tag overlapping when there was no text in genre and glitchy resume functionality gets solved. Get to know about features in detail here.
