Come Sep, the Force will be Unleashed

"Force Unleashed" is a kind of bridge between "Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith" (2005) and "Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope" (1977).
A bit like those massive generation jumps in Ekta Kapoor's soap operas, LucasArts' "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" releasing on September 16 this year, will serve as a bridge between "Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith" (2005) and "Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope" (1977).
Level One of "The Force Unleashed" will see players in the shoes of none other than Darth Vader as they explore Kashyyyk's homeworld. Subsequent levels will see them turn apprentice to Darth Vader as they use "The Force" to hunt down the remaining Jedi. They will get to travel to the TIE Fighter construction facility, the Jedi temple on Coruscant, the overgrown planet of Felucia, and back to Kashyyyk even as they get to wield light sabers, bust objects, blast bolts of lightning, and fling around their foes.
"The Force Unleashed" is peppered with big twists and turns and one revelation in particular goes beyond just filling in the gaps, revealed LucasArts Project Lead Haden Blackman at the E3 Business and Media Summit. Blackman said the game would change the way fans view Episode IV through Episode VI Return of the Jedi.
Blackman and his team in conjunction with LucasArts have attempted to re-create the original saga along with a fair sprinkling of elements from both the Star Wars universe as well as new characters and locales from game developers. "The Force Unleashed" is left pretty much open-ended so there's room for a sequel, according to Blackman. It could be carried in any direction, he said.
The new game will unleash itself upon the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, DS, PlayStation Portable, and PlayStation 2. The new computer-animated film "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" will premiere on Aug 10.

I can not wait to get this game! I am just glad Soul Calibur 4 is out at the end of the month! There is no way Starkiller will be at full power in SC4, but it should still be fun to fight with lightsabers!
