Students seeking admission in first year junior college (and their parents) can breathe a sigh of relief. Now they will not have to go about visiting every college to get the admission forms, at least in Maharashtra.
The state government of Maharashtra has a launched a new website 'www.mumbaiapplication.com' that will offer online admission form submission facility for first year junior college across over 500 colleges that are affiliated to the University of Mumbai, reports IANS.

Its a very good approach but the whole problem lies with registration process.What is the surety that the colleges will go through those applications and that the server of the website will with stand the amount of traffic that it will get.

in my time the website crshed every2 hrs and couldnt even process a registration ! sadly i had to goto the regional incharge college and get registered there

Boo give this one a Skip! This is India after-all! you know something or the other is meant to go wrong your better off going to the colleges & getting admissions the old fashioned way unless this feature matures enough.
