CoD 5 to Arrive on PS2 and Wii too!

This will mark the return of Activision's popular series to these platforms after a gap of nearly two years.

The fifth iteration of Activision's Call of Duty (CoD) franchise will now also be available on the PS2 and Wii apart from the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo DS, and the PC, the company said. This marks the return of the popular series to these platforms after a gap of nearly two years.

According to Publishing CEO of Activision, Mike Griffith, the fifth game is going to be big; they will be bringing the intensity of "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" to a new military theater. Besides, speculation is rife that CoD Next will have a Pacific World War II setting and that it is currently undergoing a quality check.

Meanwhile, Call of Duty 4 is claimed to have sold over 7 million units worldwide last year. With the demo of the fifth edition to be made available soon, all rumors would hopefully be silenced.
