Chat Up A Jeevansathi

Jeevansathi members will now be able to chat with other members on Gtalk.

Just as Shaadi.com prepares to air itself on television, the matrimonial portal's competitor, Jeevansathi.com has added Google's Gtalk messenger service to the existing integrated chat function on its website.

The chat function will work as it always did - users with a paid premium membership will be able to initiate a conversation with a desired member, who may be a free member, through the integrated chat on Jeevansathi.com.

Additionally, members will now have the option to chat through Gtalk. This means, whether the member a user wants to chat with has logged on to Jeevansathi.com or not (being logged in is mandatory to initiate the chat function), they will have the option to chat with the desired member if they're online on Gtalk.

The Gtalk ID of the member will not be revealed by the portal. Instead, the users will be able to view each others' member name registered with Jeevansathi.com on their messenger window.

So go ahead, chat up a Jeevansathi!
