The Website of a popular children's magazine, Chandamama, which got revamped last month, has now launched a unique online sharing and learning platform by integrating Mundu IM V4. With the new feature, children can not only read their favorite stories but also instantly refer them to friends and chat with them through the Mundu IM link integrated into each story. Chandamama expects this to be a powerful teaching tool as teacher and student do not have to share geographical space in order to share content seamlessly. Besides, users don't have to necessarily register with Chandamama.com as Mundu IM integrates and draws user- or buddy- lists from all major IM platforms. With the Mundu Chat tool, users can access their buddy lists from different IM platforms, including Yahoo!, AOL, MSN, and Google. They can refer stories from Chandamama.com to their entire address book on any of these mail platforms. Speaking at the launch, L Subramanyan, chief executive officer of Chandamama, said, "Imagine a grandparent in India wanting to share a story with a grand-child anywhere in the world. This can happen easily with the IM chat. All the grandparents need to do is visit Chandamama, click on the Mundu IM V4 link that is integrated into each story, and start a chat." The Chandamama Web site has all the Chandamama staples, including stories around Vikram/Vetal, Akbar/Birbal, Panchatantra, and Jataka Tales. The content is categorized as classical, contemporary, or current. More: Chandamama Website is Revamped
