With this headset, users can move freely up to 33 feet from their PCs while making VoIP calls, Logitech claims.
At CeBit 08, Logitech has unveiled its first wireless stereo headset called the ClearChat PC wireless headset designed for Internet calling with a PC.
Logitech claims its new headset combines high-performance stereo audio with 2.4GHz wireless technology, allowing users to move freely up to 33 feet (10 meters) from their PC while making VoIP calls.
With the included USB transmitter, users can connect the headset to a PC or Mac right out of the box, eliminating the need for software. The headset features a noise-canceling microphone on a flexible boom that adjusts to the desired distance from the mouth. Additionally, volume and microphone mute controls are located on the right earpiece, and the microphone automatically mutes when rotated to an upright position. For indication, the microphone emits a soft, Red glow when muted.
