CeBit 08: Asus Chain Together Monitor

Using a chip from DisplayLink, the new monitors can be run six at a time from a USB port.
At this year's CeBit, Asus has announced that it has teamed up, for its latest monitor release, with DisplayLink. That company is the brains behind the technology that allows one to run multiple monitors from a USB port on a laptop or a desktop computer.
The technology will be featured on the VW223B, Asus' latest 22-inches monitor. Using DisplayLink's DL-160 chip, one can run up to six monitors from a single VW223B (in a chain) without the need for multiple graphics cards.
The Asus VW223B fully supports the 3D capabilities of Vista's Aero interface for USB-connected displays, and will supposedly offer 32-bit true-color graphics. The monitor has a widescreen resolution of 1680 x 1050. It's quick response time will ensure smooth videos without delay or ghosting, across all the connected screens.
Details about availability and pricing of the Asus monitor haven't yet been revealed.

How about wireless USB monitors? Why waste time with USB? I'm perfectly happy with DVI.
