Canon Opens 1st X'perience Store

It aims at giving customers a chance to experience and get first-hand information on new products before actually buying them.
Canon has launched its first X'perience Store at Compro Computers, Nehru Place, in New Delhi.
The store will showcase digital cameras, camcorders, photo printers, among others. It aims at giving customers a chance to experience and get first-hand information on new products before actually buying them, thus making it an interactive and informative shopping experience.
With this store, Canon now has four stores in the country and aims at opening one such store every month. The company plans to open large exclusive showrooms in all major markets across India.
Canon has a presence for its digital cameras across 13 major retail chains operating across the country. Overall, Canon's presence has expanded to 4,000 outlets, and is expected to increase to 6,000 by December 2008.
