Canon Intros the PIXMA MX 308 AIO

The PIXMA MX 308 is Canon India's latest entrant in the inkjet All-in-One category. Aimed at home-users, this entry-level printer features high-speed scanning, photocopying, and faxing in one all-purpose device.
The highlight of the printer is its flatbed scanning capability. It features hi-speed USB 2.0 connectivity for quick scanning and data transfer. It comes with a scanning resolution of 600 x 1,200 dpi, and can multi-scan up to 10 images while saving them as individual files. For speedy document faxing, a 50-page transmission/reception memory and coded speed dialing has been embedded in the device.
The MX 308's fast print speed allows the user to save time, be it while printing photographs or professional documents. The print speeds for monochrome and color documents are 22 ppm and 17 ppm respectively. The printer takes just 46 seconds to print 4R borderless photos prints, Canon claims.
Besides, the printer is equipped with Canon's 'ChromaLife100' system that incorporates FINE print head technology, and new dye-based inks. With 'ChromaLife100', Canon claims the AIO offers photo prints that equal photo-lab quality.
The PIXMA MX 308 is available in Black and Silver for 7,995 apiece.
