    BlackBerry Goes 3G with BSNL

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL) and Research In Motion (RIM) have launched the BlackBerry solution for enterprise and individual BlackBerry customers across India.


BSNL will support the following BlackBerry handsets: BlackBerry Curve 8310, BlackBerry Bold, and BlackBerry 8700g.


 


Users will finally be able to explore 3G capabilities of the BlackBerry Bold as it would be the first BlackBerry to run on BSNL's tri-band HSDPA high-speed networks.

The earlier plan was to launch BSNL-BlackBerry services was in April.

3G services are likely to be launched in Bhatinda today, while in Pathankot and Kapurthala by 31st March 2009. IPTV service has also been launched in Chandiagrh and Jalandhar city. IPTV is going to be launched in Ludhiana and Patiala in April.

Well, its very good that bsnl lunched blackberry facilities and 3G services but why dont u solve the NETWORK problems

Techtree, PLEASE DO NOT BLINDLY COPY FROM OTHER SITES. Blackberry 8310 is a NON 3G handset..!!! How in the world did you conclude that it will use HSDPA???
