The new motherboard replaces the Intel 945GZ- with Intel 945GC/ICH7 chipset, and is designed to support CPUs with 1,333 MHz FSB.
Abacus Peripherals is next week launching the new Intel-based Biostar 945GC-M7 TE motherboard (MB).
This new motherboard replaces the Intel 945GZ- with Intel 945GC/ICH7 chipset, and is designed to support CPUs with 1,333 MHz FSB. The 945GC-M7 TE has Intel GMA 950 graphic support, and offers shared memory size up to 224MB.
Specifications of the motherboard include: CPU Support Intel Core 2 Duo/Pentium D/Pentium4/Celeron D Processor; memory 2 X Dual Channel DDR2 400/533/667; chipset Intel 945GC / ICH7; socket 775; PCI-Express x16 1; PCI-Express x1 1; PCI 2; LAN Atheros, Onboard 10/100 SATAII 4; USB2.0 4X USB 2.0 Port, 2X USB 2.0 Header; integrated video GMA; 950, Max Share Memory 224MB; integrated audio 6 CH.HD Codec (ALC662) OS Support Windows 2000/XP/XP64/Vista/Vista 64; and form factor Micro ATX (19cm X 23.9 cm).
The new MB will be available beginning next week via Abacus branches and channel partners across the country. Like all other Biostar products, this MB will also come with a three-years warranty.

The service from Abacus is "crap"...I bought a Biostar 945 board from Rourkela(Odisha) from a local vendor on 5th of October '07, it didn't even last for a month...when tested the lan chip was found cracked. I use it as a stand alone PC but still. However, I awaited response from the vendor since it was his responsibility, however when there was further delay I contacted the vendor who asked me to write to Abacus...as asked i e-mailed them my problem...Believe it or not I still havn't got a response back...I have no expectations whatsoever from Abacus anymore. So if u r about to purchase something related to Abacus Peripherals Please Please Please think twice...and better search for the quality of the services they provide

on 1st booting screen its showing " main Processor : Inte(R) Pentium (R) Dual 450 Mhz (50x9.0) , 2 CPUs." in 945GC-M7-TE with Dualcore 1.8 Ghz cpu. So Pls. Clarify the point mentioned in quote.
