Both launches are in limited edition; they're inspired by the aesthetics (yellow and black colors) and performance of the Lamborghini racing car.

Asus is making possible your racing dreams with its recent India launch of the Asus Lamborghini Notebook and the Asus Lamborghini ZX1 PDA phone.

Both launches are in limited edition; they're inspired by the aesthetics (yellow and black colors) and performance of the Lamborghini racing car.

The Lamborghini Notebook sports a Titanium alloy hinge backbone and a built-in high-resolution camera atop the screen that complements the sapphire crystal panel of the car. The notebook will be on the market by the end of next month, and will carry a price tag of Rs 2 lacs.

The Asus Lamborghini ZX1 PDA that put in a cameo at this year's CeBit has a chassis-inspired aerodynamic flow with distinctive edges. The back panel boasts an extremely lightweight yet strong carbon fiber. The phone's racing user interface, which can be modified to the user's mode of operation, and its nine-way navigational key both take after the Lamborghini car.

Essentially a PDA that runs on Windows Mobile, the ZX1 is fitted with a 2.8-inches screen, and comes with wireless 802.11b+g, Bluetooth v2.0+EDR, USB2.0, 3.5G, and even GPS.

The phone will cost in the region of Rs 50,000.

Speaking at the launch, Edward Wang, business head (Mobile Communication Business) of Asus India, said the ZX1 is the first co-branded PDA phone from Asus and is targeted at a very niche segment, for people who have a penchant for style. Wang said they wanted end users to feel as engaging an experience as driving a Lamborghini and that elements of style and design have been seamlessly incorporated into the phone at every level.
