Asus has launched it's G1S gaming notebook with Intel Centrino Duo Mobile technology, which according to the company, will revolutionize the way games are played -- with blistering speeds and true-to-life video and audio performance on-the-go.

The 15.4-inch wide-screen notebook carries design details inside out, including an OLED instant display, side/front speakers, hotkey highlights, and direct flash sidelights.

The LCD cover with special in-mold decoration design gives the NB a special identity and makes the surface more resistant.

The NB's built-in high-resolution Web cam and speaker enable wire-free conferencing from anywhere in the world.

Asus' Direct Messenger Information side display updates instant messages, system status, and reminder alerts while maintaining full screen game mode. The OLED window can also be customized to show personal messages and caller IDs by activating the Power4 Phone function.

Gaming is made comfortable with the ergonomically designed keyboard, with W, A, S, and D keys specially marked with color squares to match the rest of the notebook color scheme.

Asus Splendid Video Intelligence technology integrates different multimedia data sources to reduce noise and conversion rate for a vivid display.

Besides, the notebook features Bluetooth 2.0 enhanced data rate for increased connectivity and synchronization between digital devices, and a range of input/output ports for dynamic data transfer and storage.

Other features include: high-speed wireless Internet for data access and transfers with integrated WLAN 802.11 a/b/g, Net4 Switch Utility for detection of available network in the surrounding environment, and extended battery life with Asus PowerGear power management.
