Asus EEE Stick Announced

Asus has announced a Wii Remote-like plug-n-play wireless controller called EEE Stick for the PC platform.
After much rumor-mongering, official word on Asus' Wii Remote-like Asus EEE Stick is finally out. Asus has announced a plug-n-play wireless controller called EEE Stick for the PC platform. The EEE Stick is a motion-sensing wireless controller that looks similar to Wii nunchuks. The EEE Stick promises easy plug-n-play, 3D motion and a more enjoyable gaming experience on a PC.
The EEE Stick comes bundled with an activation stick, navigation stick and 2.4 GHz RF USB dongle. The built-in motion sensors offer three gaming modes: 3D Motion, Pointer and Tilt.
The 3D Motion mode responds to, and reproduces, movement along all axes, including wrist rotations, and is ideal for playing sports, action and beat 'em up games. The Pointing mode offers better aiming, and is hence perfect for First Person Shooters and Star Wars-like light saber games. The Tilt mode is suitable for arcade, racing and flight simulation games as it reproduces multi-directional movements - forward, backward and sideways.
Both ergonomic sticks last over three days of continuous play on two AA batteries each. With a broadcast range of 10m, the 2.4GHz RF USB dongle enables gamers to use the sticks freely without any disconnection problems.
Asus will bundle the EEE stick with either EEE PC or EEE Box along with EEE Stick-exclusive games.
