Fixes 3G iPod Shuffle issues

Apple has released the VoiceOver Kit 1.0.1 update for fixing issues in the 3rd Gen iPod Shuffle. Apple had recently  launched the third-generation iPod Shuffle with the new VoiceOver feature, controllable with the headphones.

The new 17MB VoiceOver Kit 1.0.1 update comes via the Mac OS X software update. The VoiceOver feature in the third-generation iPod Shuffle voices the title of the songs being played, the artist's name, and even playlist details.

The update fixes the pronunciation issues related to the names of several artists and also certain "minor bugs." While Apple didn't specify details about the bugs, we can assume that it would be related to syncing issues.

Apparently, it has always been tough for Apple to implement and support something novel. No sooner do they add some 'revolutionary' feature in their new products that some glitches crop up - which is understandable. Thankfully, the VoiceOver controls, as explained earlier, have become more snazzy and user-friendly.
