The card boasts read performance of 47MB/sec, and write performance of 36MB/sec. The high speeds allow for less lag between shooting and data transfer.

Apacer Technology has officially introduced its fourth generation CompactFlash memory card, the Photo Steno Pro IV 300X CF, which is meant for professional cameras.

The Photo Steno Pro IV 300X CF card comes with a compatible high performance controller, advanced file management with faster data transfer, and longer life with Apacer's 'Wear Leveling' technology. It includes error correcting codes (ECC) for automatic detection- and correction- of errors.

The card boasts read performance of 47MB/sec, and write performance of 36MB/sec. The high speeds allow for less lag between shooting and data transfer.

Besides, the Pro IV 300X CF uses the CF4.0 specification, plus original SLC (single-level cell) flash memory to deliver superior performance. And, it uses latest dual-channel technology where the controller transfers data in two channels unlike that in single-channel transfer. This results in double the bandwidth and efficiency.

Currently, the Photo Steno Pro IV 300X CF is available in two capacities; 4GB and 8GB. Watch this space for the pricing!
