Airtel Lifetime Prepaid for Rs 495

By introducing 'Lifetime Prepaid 495' Bharti Airtel intends to further expand the market, and make mobile services more affordable to prepaid users.

Bharti Airtel has introduced yet another value add in the form of 'Lifetime Prepaid 495'. By introducing its popular Lifetime Prepaid for just Rs 495, Bharti Airtel says it intends to further expand the market, and make mobile services more affordable to its prepaid customers. With 'Lifetime Prepaid 495,' Airtel prepaid subscribers will get free incoming for life, and full talk time on all future recharges. Besides, they can continue to enjoy lifetime validity benefits by using a minimum of Rs 200 every 180 days. Beginning tomorrow, 'Lifetime Prepaid 495' will be available to both existing as well as new Airtel prepaid users. Existing users too can avail the offer by recharging with Rs 495. Under 'Lifetime Prepaid 495,' existing lifetime prepaid tariffs would be applicable. Launching the new service, Sanjay Kapoor, President of Mobile Services, Bharti Airtel Limited, said, "Lifetime Prepaid is a revolutionary concept that we had earlier introduced to the Indian mobile user. Our 495 Lifetime product is at an attractive price point, and it marks our strategic intent to drive affordability and consumption in the prepaid category further." Processing fees involved for 'Lifetime Prepaid 495' are Rs 430.55 approximately.

Dear you have to pay for that. All these numbers are treated as fancy numbers. BSNL charges 1000 for last 5 digits. Also other private key players like tata indicom, airtel will give you the fancy numbers. All u hv to do is visit bsnl exchange or customer outlet of private operators.

No you are not actually cheated... THE NEW SUBSCRIBERS to this scheme will get cheated... In this scheme, you have to recharge for Rs400/year (MINIMUM Rs200/180 days)... But in earlier case (999 Lifetime) you have to spend Rs100/year (MINIMUM Rs50/6 months)

The information is incomplete and inaccurate.The fact that the SIM will be permanently disconnected IF NOT recharged within 180days with at least Rs200 is not mentioned.Is it a deliberate omision By the promoters of the scheme? Possiblly it is in the Fine Print buried somewhere in the tariff table.

Airtel Life time means Rs.495 onetime cost and then every year Rs.400 and outgoing Rs.1.99 m2m std Rs.2.99 sms Re.1 what a jok. yet Reliance giving us lifetime Rs.495 and everyyear just Rs.20 rechage Rs.10 for 180 days and call chg m2m 50 paise and m2landline Re1 with pack of Rs.39 if you want to incoming then no need to use top up Rs.39 just only for 180 days recharge only Rs.10

The real meaning of Lifetime Prepaid is the lifetime of the Mobile Company not the person's lifetime. Which in other words means the time till they hold the licence to continue with their mobile services
