Airtel Launches Lifetime Offer

Airtel Launches Lifetime Offer

Techtree News Staff, Dec 24, 2005 1301 hrs IST

Airtel has introduced the "Lifetime" prepaid card with life time validity for a one time payment of Rs 999.

Airtel has introduced the "Lifetime" prepaid card with life time validity. This plan allows users to take a pre-paid connection with lifetime validity for a one time payment of Rs 999. The user can then continue to receive calls throughout their life without having to recharge.

The move is reportedly aimed at stopping the churn in the pre-paid subscriber base - once a subscriber takes this plan, he will remain an Airtel subscriber whether the mobile is in use or not. The "Lifetime" prepaid card also offers the user full talk time on every future recharge of any denomination and can be availed by all existing and potential mobile users.

Airtel aims to take affordability to a whole new level and maintains that this offer will open up new segments of the market. There is no change though in the airtime charges. All local calls will be charged at Rs 1.99 a minute and all STD calls will be charged at Rs 2.99 a minute.

In October, Tata Teleservices unveiled the "Non-Stop Mobile" for its prepaid customers wherein the scheme enabled users to get incoming calls for two years without re-charging. This scheme won the service provider one million new subscribers in November alone.

Hi this is Syed.I want to discuss about mobile phones radiation.First of all All the service providers in india seeking only money not in technic vice.Aim is to get more money though plan is life time, prepaid or postpaid.Bcoz for establishment the have to spend crores amount. Then they should get back.(only from customer.,ie we all knew). But fetching money tric by so many plans. No plan is perfect.Introducing and following upto some extent.Thats it.planning is not good. But in foreign countries Very gud schemes.Max 2 plans form these plan u can enjoy talking without a single difficulty such as recharging againg n again, rental,SMS packages so and so..SECOND THING radiation..You can enjoy urself if u dont have mobile. No tension,No billing and mainthing u can live upto 100 years bcoz no frequency radiation. But CDMA (Tata,Reliance) phones emit less radiation than GSM(Airtel, hutch SIM phones) phones.

Hello All, I am going to tell you all about my bitter experince with Airtel. I opted for a corporate Airtel postpaid connection somewhere in the first week of April. According to the Airtel personnel in my office, they have two plans under Airtel 199 plan a) 600 mins Airtel to Airtel free b) 300 mins Airtel to any GSM free. I opted for the plan b). Then after sometime I realised that I have been given plan a). I raised a compliant for the change of the plan from a) to b). I was told that the plan is changed and the complaint was closed. When I received my first month bill, i realised that the plan change has not happened. By this time I had already gone thru the terrifying experience of calling Airtel 100 times to get my plan changed from a) to b). I was fed up with Airtel and decided to disconnect the connection. I was asked to send a email to 121@airtelindia.com. I sent a mail on April 7th 2007. They told me they will give a confimration call before disconnecting. But till today (15th April 2007), I have not received any confirmation call from them . They had told it should happen within 4 working days. I have been repeatedly calling the customer care from last one week.. Nothing has happened but. So I have stopped using the phone from today. I have cancelled the Autodebit facility I had given to Airtel. I have decided not to pay even a single paise money to them. One more surprsing thing is when I visit the Airtel website to check out their plans/services for postpaid, I do not see themention of plan b) anywhere. I see only the plan a). This seems to be a big case of cheating from Airtel, the most trusted connection in India unfortunately. I am ready to be without cell phone but never going to use Airtel connection throughout my life. Beware of Airtel Please!!!! Thanks

The experience with airtel connection is very bad . They have made my connection to lifetime saying that you have e recharge of Rs 99 at 8 am on 20 th nov. But no such e recharge by me or my friends. when i dail 121 and listen my validity its found to be same as previous . I have talk to the customer care executive for 5-6 times . But the executive is saying the same that you e recharge of 99 to make your connection life time . But when i have not e -recharge of 99 Rs why should bear the life time call rates inspite of recharge of 66 Rs to reduce my call rates. tell me what should i do when i have not done any thing silly or by mistake . they are not accepting they have problem in their database. Please suggest me .

As far as coustomer care service is concerned it is the poorest as one can not connect to it in even 10 go, more over until one can talk to coustomer care one can not activate gprs on his mobil. In this case Rim is more better as the set comes preactivated

Be very careful with this scheme. I have been charged Rs.4/- per call for STD. Normally people do not check the rate after each call and mobile companies take advantage of this by charging higher rates for calls. I have checking my rates for the last 2 weeks after each STD call.

its an excellent offer of having introduced a life time prepaid in the present compoetitive scenario, but if sms was made free or charged 10 paise per sms, then you could win a major portion of the market.

I have a very bad experience with the scheme. Last month I subscribed for this service by paying 999. Since then, I have been charged nearly 5 rs a day, just out of the blue. On 11th Jan 2006 I recharged with Rs. 120/- . Since than I have made one call to a local mobile (cost of Rs 1.99/-) and one SMS and today i.e. 26th Jan 2006 the amount remaining as balance on my account is Rs 4.60/-. Isn't that amazing. By tomorrow I guess my balance would be negitive and my incoming calls will be stopped. I am a layman, oblivious of the intricacies involved in all these plans etc. But if I am going to be charged for no service by luring me with highly decorated promises, that is sheer cheating. Any one may query as to why I did not contact the customer care cell. I actually did and I feel its less said the better about the functioning of these blessed 'facilitating' centers. I went to the local airtel center, who made a call to some other customer care center and told me that the lines are busy and he will get back to me at the earliest on my cell. Thereafter there was no news from him. Two days after that again I went and paid him a visit. Agian the same farce went on and he told me that I will be intimated by SMS within 48 hours as to what is wrong. Its the end of four days and no news is good news as of now. I would have said to hell with Airtel and forgone the 999 + 120 as a ill placed donation to a cheater. But I have given this number as contact number at too many places, constant contacts with which is very significant to me. So I am really trapped, at least for the time being. Can anyone suggest any help?

by Sangeeta Naik, Panaji, Goa, on Jan 24, 2006 02:27 PM, Report abuse   Reply

Dear Sangeeta, the unfortunate soul, You are forgetting that its Indian style of doing business. You have already paid Rs.999. Now who cares whether their customer service is good or pathetic. I had this fear in my mind about quality of customer care once Lifetime scheme is availed of and that is why I did not opt for it! Moreover the call rates in Lifetime scheme are really atrocious.

what is STD rate from airtel to airtel mobile?

by Mausumi Pal, Delhi, on Jun 19, 2006 10:37 AM, Report abuse   Reply

Hi. I am an Idea subscriber and believe that Idea has best Lifetime plan. Just Rs.50 per month and you get to call all mobiles at Rs.0.99/min and landlines and STD at Rs.0.99/30secs. Also in the present world of mobiles, there is good top of Rs.50 per month to bring you mobile charges to Rs.0.49/min. So I just commit to Rs.100 per month (from previous Rs.400 per month) and my bills have dropped from about Rs.1000 per month to Rs.550 per month due to Rs.300 savings in rental and drop in bill for mobile calls (about 75% of my local calls are to mobiles and expect this to the norm these days). There is also marginal saving in STD because it has changed from Rs.1.99/min to Rs.0.99/30secs. For for all those who wish to go for the lifetime offer is to serious consider Idea as has the best in comparison to Reliance, Hutch or Airtel.

Airtel lifetime recharge is only for 25 to 26 years. It is not for lifetime. Also, there is a deduction of 18% for tax on every recharge. Also, the rates are also made high for calls. So,airtel is making fool to customers who are not technically aware about that. -Survase Vaibhav T.E. E&TC,Pune-413009 Ph.No.:9890099153

If you are impressed by the flashy ads of Sharukh and Sachin and great compositions of AR Reheman and by mistake if you have bought an AIRTEL connection thinking that it would provide you with good service...then that is the last thing you are going to get friends. The service provider is keen in making money through useless "value added services" etc. rather than solve problems in their system. If you are confused then let me explain. In the 31st night I tried calling my friends and loved ones to greet them on the verge of New Year..but in vain... I kept on trying untill the service provider played a recorder msg whenever I tried to call somebody telling me that "THE OUTGOING CALL FACILITY IS CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE ON YOUR CONNECTION FOR ASSISTANCE PLEASE CALL AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE AT 121 OR 9831012345 FROM A LANDLINE" I called up and was replied that this was due to a temporary congestion due to excesive pressure on servers and will be cleared shortly. I am not sure weather AIRTEL knows the meaning or "SHORTLY" , "DEFINITELY" ETC ETC. I am still continuing for the last 3 days without being able to call anybody from my mobile...my prepaid connection has enough balance and the recharge date is far away....I have called up so many times in the customer care that I am now fed up with their false statements and other lies. I have lost a 50,000 deal due to this and had to shift to another service provider to maintain my connections with my clients and knowns. This is an ultimate harrasment and I am not sure whom to complain about it and how to get compensation from those idiots. I hereby inform all my friends kindly not to subscribe to Airtel else you will also face such problems inevitably. OH I forgot to tell they are currently installing Hello Tunes to your connection without your notice....and at the end of the month you see that you have been robbed of some of your money...isnt that the ultimate cheating company?

Traffic congestion is problem with every Networks. The more the service providers get customers, they have to update their capacity. This happens with all companies. I have Hutch as well as Airtel on June 25 in heavy rains & floods situation in Mumbai the Hutch had this same problem. You will know this as you use the other service providers phones. Mobile has limited use, for urgent calls only. The landline with wire like MTNL is the best & trustworthy. You can speak clearly & also hear clearly no disturbances at all. if you have cross connections or disturbance make a complaint OR sent a letter to the General Manager ur complaint will be attended immediately atleast they are Semi-Govt bodies thus they have some fear & pressure from the Public & thus we get & can call for more accountability. These private Giants at the time of purchasing SIM itself binds & hand-cuffs u by there standard form of agreement. Which most of us ignore while signing & which they misuse after getting signed from us. I am saying this out of my experience, i am a Advocate at High Court & know all loop holes of these companies. My one Notice can give them shiver. MOST OF YOU EVEN DON'T KNOW THE ADDRESS & DESIGNATIONS (OF MOBILE CO's) OF THE OFFICERS RESPONSIBLE, WHOM U CAN WRITE OR COMPLIANT. THE GALLERY IS NOT A AUTHORISED ENTITY.

09/01/2006 I cannot believe that such offers are practically feasible in the long run as the private player can go bak on its word and promises when competition and problems surface. If at all they keep their promise, what is the guarantee to their claims? Moreover, they could identify each airtel landline subscriber base and offer the facility free of cost also as an incentive. Thanks.

09/01/2006 I cannot believe such a offer would do any good as private facilities can revoke their claims anytime as seen by experiences. I have had terrible experiences with aviva life insurance company in not getting back the expected amt even after more than a year. Thanks.

Hmm first of all my comment is missing!!! :( Well buddies again I REMIND U'LL OUTGOING CALLS AND SMS are NOT FREE!!! And please do look at the outgoing charges and sms charges carefully!! U aint gonna be recharging only when u want to send a msg or going to make a call!! All I can say is that if Ur gonna have to call some nanny who is bedridden or a wife ur afraid is gonna run with the milkman then u need this scheme to keep calling them as checking tabs :)) Other than that well maybe vendors, courier guys and someone really with ONLY the need for INCOMING ALONE will enjoy the benefits of this scheme. Other than that, like most of my friends suggest, LIFETIME OF WHO OR WHAT??!!! WILL ALWAYS BE THE QUESTION ON ONE'S MIND!!! Most probably could be the person if he/she finally is lucky enough to get that brain tumor he/she has been itching for so bad OR the sim, which U know on constant removal and crap or for other obvious reasons could be damaged and it still is an unknown fact if there will be ANY REPLACEMENTS again without charges if at all for the same!!! Come to think of it the way they stress on the PERMANENTLY DEACTIVATED Im sure thats another point to ponder!!! Well for those with need works for them for those with greed it sucks!!! BIG TIME!! Well comeon to put things on matter of fact and common sense terms, rather recharge monthly have ur umpteen number of smses for only 1 rp per day and have ur outgoing calls wherein suppose u make a call of say 1 minute 1 sec u dont get charged 4 bucks!! Rather 1:50 and comeon dont tell me ur gonna carry 10 buck recharges all the time that too with the call charges so high I think U'll be doing more recharging than calling anyone as a matter of fact and well As I reiterate it will be as I earlier said... Many drops form an ocean and well in this case MANY RECHARGES FORM AN OCEAN of CASH FOR THE CELLPHONE COMPANIES AND NOT U!!! So dont wonder why ur purse keeps looking like its hit by a TSUNAMI!!! :)) Again I end saying LOOK BEFORE U LEAP and THINK BEFORE U SPEAK well in this case to the customer care officer of each company!! CHEERS MATES HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! GOD BLESS

1. These latest offers by various Cos are good only for one reason - free lifetime incoming calls - and no other (6 monthly recharge is too insignificant to be worried about since recharge is available for as low as Rs 10/-. Further it would be a very rare situation where a customer would not use his mobile to make some emergency calls once in a while). 2. Full recharge value has no meaning since outgoing local calls are expensive at Rs 1.99(why can't they increase it by 1 paise???). So effectively for a Rs 300- recharge you get only Rs 150/- talktime! 3. I would personally recommend MTNL's Trump. It has the following advantages:- (a) Cheapest cost - Rs 900 as compared to 990 by others. (b) True Life Time, being a Govt Co. Pvt Cos won't tell you that they have a License for only 15 yrs (out of which 4-5 yrs are over). (c) Lowest airtime - Rs 1.50 and Rs 2.40 for Local and STD respectively, compared to Rs 2.0 and Rs 3.0 for Hutch/Airtel etc. SMS cost is just Rs 0.50 compared to 1.50 for others. When converted to monthly bills, it works out to a saving of upto 35-50%,depending on the usage (More savings if you send a lot of SMS). 4. Largest coverage in the country, due to their tie-up with BSNL. (d) And for those who would say that MTNL is a Govt Co. and not service friendly, I would suggest that you try their service. 99% of the customers need plain vanilla service, ie. incoming and outgoing calls (including SMS).

by LD Singh, Delhi, on Jan 06, 2006 08:31 PM, Report abuse   Reply

I fully agree with LD Singh. MTNL/BSNL do not do aggressive marketing like Hutch/Airtel/Reliance etc. My own experience is that they provide good basic service but more importantly VALUE FOR MOENEY! Most of us do not know that an SMS costs Rs 0.50/- at MTNL.

Hi guys.... I am new to this Mobile world. I am confused by all this LIFE TIME offers by various Telecom companies. Can any one suggest which has the all these at a time(GOOD COVERAGE, LOW RATES, LOW ROAMING CHARGES, BEST QUALITY and FUTURE FREE SERVICES AND VARIED RATES ALLOWED) in LIFE TIME/FULL TIME offers.......

by Raghu, Hyderabad, on Dec 30, 2005 11:28 PM, Report abuse   Reply

This is confusing lot of the mobile users. Before going for the connection study about the provider and what are the benefits given by the provider and before opting for the connection check out the network services and your frequent mobility i.e. how frequently you move to the different locations apart from your residence. for opting provider for if e.g. if you go for Reliance you have a flexibility that if you call any reliance phone then its free of cost whether it is landline or mobile. if you choose TataIndicom between two truepaid customers its free of cost and if you call from tataland line to mobile its free. such benefits and features are given in the above mentioned providers. Similarly enquiry about the Air-Tel and Hutch.

Further the full talkvalue on future recharges is very Great after the easy charge of Rs.999/-. I used this scheme in the last year, which was valid for 1 year only & thus i was waiting for this scheme & got a bonus of LIFETIME VALIDITY & recharge will not be any more a every months job. Now I can Recharge as i need it. For eg:.It Means that there is no compulsion to withdraw any money from ATM, if you get a ATM card U can Withdraw only when you need the money. The Six months creiteria is for Public good. We have similar thing with our Savings, etc account of Bank. If the A/c is non operative for more than 5 years the Bank cancels the same, elsewise how will they know if you have died in some accident OR murdered somewhere & buried with your lovely MOBILE PHONE----------------------------------------------------------------------- I think that fulltalktime is a complete Paisa Vasool. If you genuienly use a Mobile then you could recover your 999 in just 6 months, Get calculators in your hands & calculate & compare with the current Rs. 125 we get on Rs.300 card we lose Rs. 175 i.e we loose Rs. 1050 in 6 months So better earn this Money & use it to talk for business & family. I will definitely recover this money in 6-9 months period. Further the roming facility of AIRTEl is very good. The monthly Roming rentals are deducted from your Banalce only if you go in roming networks, further in Maharashtra if u select the airtel network on a airtel card U get free incoming, no charges at all & i am using this & have benefited from the same the Airtel connection is ideal. I know some call centers of Airtel are not fully conservant with all the schemes. I will not blam them they are humans like us but the intentions of Airtel should not be Questioned for that reason. Visit personally the Airtel Gallaries & read all the text & schemes & terms & conditions from the Airtel website or make a wise search from google

I Guess everyone against AiRtel should read this from the Airtel Website: See below my comments. Though as per the details of the scheme there is no need to recharge every 6 months. The scheme says that either you should make a call OR receive a call OR recharge atleast once in 6 months SEE THE "OR" Word. And even if later on they comple What's the Harm to to recharge with Rs. 10/- once in six months, anyway most of us will need & recharge with more than that amount. What create a HYPE of SIX MONTH condition. That is a good thing if this condition is not there then persons will buy & stock SIM under 999 scheme & will later BLACK them in market or misuse it for CRIME.: IF YOU DON'T GET A CALL OR MAKE A CALL IN SIX MONTHS THEN WHY GET A MOBILE instead get a TOY MOBILE: --------------------------------------- This new Voucher provides the benefit of LIFE TIME VALIDITY and that too at a nominal value of Rs. 999. This voucher not only provides the benefit of LIFETIME VALIDITY but also provides unbelievable tariffs along with the benefit of FULL TALK TIME (- service tax) on all future recharge vouchers. Construct of the voucher: MRP: 999 Talk time: Rs. 25 Validity: Lifetime Tariff: All local Calls: Rs. 1.99/Min. All STD Calls: Rs. 2.99/Min. All Local SMS: Rs. 0.99/Message. All National SMS: Rs. 1.99/Message. All International; SMS: Rs. 4.99/Message. Terms and Conditions: ?If a subscriber does not have any incoming or outgoing calls or any recharge for a period of 6 months the card will become invalid. ?Other top ups or tariff can?t be clubbed with this scheme. If a subscriber is currently on a particular pack or scheme & he/she goes in for the Rs. 999 recharge, only the tariffs & rates which are applicable with the Rs. 999 recharge will be valid. ?Upon recharge subscriber will hear a validity announcement of 999 days however this will be extended for lifetime. This will be followed by USSD message stating that the validity of the recharge is for lifetime. ?Once the subscriber is on this scheme he/she can?t club any other promotion/scheme/pack/offer with the Rs. 999 recharge. ?This scheme is applicable on all paper recharge & on select denominations on Easy Charge.

I've been a prepaid customer for 2 yrs and while the service is no doubt good, Airtel can never be deemed customer friendly. On a recharge of 350, firstly you get a talk time of 167 and then 30 is deducted as "rental". So, u are effectively left with 137. Can we believe that this company will ever provide a friendly service? In the "lifetime" prepaid, the call charges are 1.99 per any local call - presumably this also means local mobile calls. So, even on a recharge of 350, you are likely to get the same max M2M calls as earlier. Notice that "applicable" tax and admin charges still apply. Any one knows what the "full talk time" really means here, on a recharge of 350? Or, since the full talk time is only on select recharges, does one have to charge with more than 500 ?!

yes mohammed it is possible.for the same query i went to my nearest airtel dealer and he told me that u need to simply recharge ur mobile with 999 card and u will be part of that scheme. But my personal suggestion is that u should stick with present service as there are some problem in 999.1)if somehow ur balance become 0,scheme will end up right there and ur 1000 rs(dinar) will be wasted. 2)Charges per minuite is exceeded with this scheme . 3)And i also heard from user of the scheme that u have to recharge ur mobile atleast once in six month. This is my personal suggestion to u .However u should enquire more with ur nearest airtel office or dealer.Bye.

i think u must improve upon the news. As informed by the airtel customer care, the user has to recharge his connection after every six months to get the incoming, otherwise the facility will be disabled. I think the hidden -- factor is also to be taken into the consideration.

absolutely - like the public offer ads and offer documents, there should be a font size limit and a limit on disclaimers like "conditions apply" without a single condition being detailed.

This has got nothing to do with your number. It is just a recharge, like any other recharge. Only the validity is "lifetime" and the talk time Rs.25/-. But there appearsa to be a catch, as per the wordings in the airtel website (which in any case is wrong English in that the word 'either' is used to denote three conditions viz. incoming, outgoing and recharging, whereas the word can be used only to denote two), you may be forced to recharge once in 6 months to keep your connections alive. I am trying to get the facts from airtel customer care, but most people manning the centre are muffs, you know!

No matter whatever everyone says... well if a person has to use his phone just for receiving calls then this plan is simple the best for such a kind of person... well you see it is written RECHARGE ATLEAST ONCE or GET ATLEAST 1 INCOMING CALL or MAKE ATLEAST 1 OUTGOING CALL in SIX MONTHS"---> well if you are using it as for receving calls it is obvious there is no need for recharging and making a call... But for people who like to communicate with sms this offer wouldnt be that great as it is expensive... Well, Talking about getting Tata and REliance giving a phone along with their scheme well obviously the technology used by Airtel, IDEA, BSNLm, BPL, Hutch is DIFFERENT from Reliance and Tata.. Moreover, there are much more phones supporting GSM rather than CDMA technology.... Well,it all depends upon the person you are... and what is more important to you.... the phone... the incoming rates, the outgoing charges or the sms rates... Well, personally I use Reliance, well just because for the lower outgoing rates and specially most of my friends have reliance.... (so you see the group is also very important) but the handset which I have is not too pleasing to me... well with this airtel offer I can easily afford two mobiles.... and two numbers... (well, why two numbers... one a personal.. other... just general no.) it all depends upon how you want to use.. them... Well, it would be much more better if any mobile manufacturing company makes a phone... which can support both the technologies.... I have just heard it from my friends that NOKIA does have a model of that type though I am not sure about it.... but well as far as you know ... impossible is nothing..

with all these life-time offers out in the market, i feel that its good for people who make more STD calls. since i am more bent on local calls and SMSes...the Rs.1.99/minute tarriff and Rs.1/local SMS and Rs.2/(National SMS) is too much for me. What i pay now is 25p/SMS (local/national) and Rs.1/minute for local calls, with Airtel-Airtel free. So its a matter of personal prference. If u make more STD calls, this is a good offer for u.

Attention to customers: charges are fixed, there is no other top-ups/schemes are alowed/merged with this scheme. So we have to pay fixed rates for ever... Rs 1.99 for a local call and Rs 2.99 for all other calls in India

Airtel connection is good but the rates and scheme are totally different thats means high charges better i prefer Spice Connection in Karnataka fully Network coverage and low rate compare to other connection.

Airtel is the best CON-ing company. Dont fall for this racket.

by Anonymous, bombay, on Dec 24, 2005 04:32 PM, Report abuse   Reply

the offer validity is not 6 months, ur account will be de-activated if you dont make calls/Recharge once every 6 months. Go check airtel website u fools. If they dont have this condition, many unused numbers wont be recycled, and soon the world will run out of numbers for example i like the connection and use it it, then i think some other provider is giving me a better plan and i shift, then this Airtel number will lay unused for years and what if most ppl do this? . So, for proper utilisation of resources, they will check for activity on the number for past 6 months, disable it if necessary and recycle it hope this is explanatory for all you foolish guys who mock "Airtel"

ROCKSTAR! Why not you go travel a bit more than goa and back to your snug little hole of a place in bombay. If you are so bothered by people not being able to speak "Propah" english, why don't you take it upon yourself to get out and try to help them to become better at speaking it, rather than pointing condescending fingers. Or are you too busy spending Papa's money at clubs and burning his fuel, not to mention his bank account. These forums, rather any forums, aren't there for your type of manners or outlook. So be constructive in your actions, or lay off!!! Get it KID!!!

Thanks spartacus1979 Yes , there is a offer like this But outgoing call charges are very high & most important SMS charges!!!!!!!! Rs 0.99 per SMS I am getting Free unlimited Local SMS in my present tariff for only Rs.1 daily rental And outgoing local for Rs.1 per minute. This plan is expansive for me because I recharge two to three hundred per month and only my balance is finish not my validity.

Every on e should understand that if these type of offers are coming in market of hutch and airtel then you should remember that offer of reliance 500 mein mobile kar lo duniya muthhi mein ,,they only give you a sweet slap but you and we people are unable to understand business tricks ,my self Rahul 9899510007,i am not in favour of any company but the truth is every one should go accordingly their needs for living and these offers will come again and again in future also.........

I would only want to comment that so when the offers are coming why dont we take use of them... according to our needs.... and use it positively... well i have seen many people using the reliance phone under the 500 Rs. scheme... practically if you are smart enough you would have realised how to use this offer best suiting to ur needs... well if there is no need obviously dont go for it... coz dont just buy anything for the mere fancy that everyone else is doing the same....

Hello I want to buy AirTel Lifetime card, I want to know the terms & conditions please make a call to my cell no. +91-98444-27265

by Raghavan K S, Mysore, on Dec 27, 2005 09:16 AM, Report abuse   Reply

Only problem with this type of card is that you will not be able avail extra facilities.. like the different schemes for making calls from airtel to airtel and sms schemes. you dont get any extra facilities... all you get is an free incoming mobile... with outgoing rates of 1.99 RS for local and 2.99 Rs. for STD and 1 Rs for local sms and 2Rs for STD sms... no other extra facilities or addons available... Moreover once in six months you need to recharge. Well you can recharge with the lowest amount.... and also remember you get 25 Rs of talktime free along with the card...

by Viv, Vadodara, on Dec 27, 2005 11:08 AM, Report abuse

Well, There is one more latest News!!! Hutch also has introduced a card with life time validity.. for Rs. 999 /- . They call it the HUTCH CHALTA RAHE offer... well the terms and conditions are similiar to the Airtels . Well you get complete talk time on any amount you recharge... that means if you recharge for 300 Rs. you get 300 Rs. talktime . But the rates for making outgoing calss is Rs. 1.99/- for local calls and 2.99/- for std calls. There is that nearly similarly conditions that you should recharge atleast once in sixmonths to keep the card active... well so what is the problem in recharging for 10 Rs atleast...

by Viv, Vadodara, on Dec 27, 2005 11:03 AM, Report abuse   Reply

Anyone reply me about terms and conditions of this offer my question is whether connection will be disabled in any one of these cases ie no recharge upto 6 months, no incoming upto 6 months , no outgoing upto 6 months ? or Connection will be disabled only when all above three conditions true ?

Give me more details about airtel life time incomming calls scheem and is their any conditions for this scheem

by somashekar, bangalore, on Dec 26, 2005 04:41 PM, Report abuse   Reply

If one does some marketing tactic, every one will follow up. Tata Indicom does this and then Relience, Airtel ..... Tata Indicom and Relience can gain much by introducing this strategy, because they are selling mobile phones also with that. I think real winner are mobile makers, Nokia, sonyericson, Motorola etc...
