Airtel Invites Votes for the Taj Mahal

It's there each time you look... the ongoing campaign to vote for India's most breathtakingly beautiful monument of love, the Taj Mahal, as one of the seven 'new' wonders of the world.
Then again, no Indian worth-his-salt wouldn't want this most magnificent marble edifice to figure in the new list of world wonders.
Jumping into the 'vote for Taj' fray is Bharti Airtel, which has announced a free SMS campaign for its mobile customers across the country.
To participate in Airtel's Taj campaign, all users need do is send an SMS with the keyword, 'TAJ' to a short code - 4567.
Airtel users can avail the first SMS free up until July 6th. Thereafter each subsequent message will be chargeable at the rate of Rs 3.
Commenting on the initiative, Sanjay Gupta, chief marketing officer of mobile services, Bharti Airtel, said the Taj Mahal is a historic landmark that symbolizes India's rich heritage and culture. That this initiative is a special gesture by Airtel inviting the whole family to come forward and vote for the Taj!
Adding a dash of spice is music maestro, A R Rehman, who has specially composed customized music in six languages, including Hindi, Bangla, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malyalam.
The music can be downloaded as Hello Tunes by dialling 678777.

India has been a country of all religions, Taj Mahal is a marvel created by Muslims, Hindus and others. It should be treated as Wonders of World. Here is an excerpt from Wiki - "The New Seven Wonders of the World is a proposed revision of the Seven Wonders of the World, organized by a Swiss-based, for-profit corporation called New Open World Corporation (NOWC). The selection is being made by free and paid votes, through telephone or online. The first vote is free to registered members and additional votes may be purchased through a payment to NOWC. In addition to the sale of votes, NOWC relies on private donations, the sale of merchandise such as shirts and cups, and revenue from selling broadcasting rights" So as is obvious these people are out to make money, and they are making money out of us. So this is just a list of the seven wonders and unless you really want to see Taj at top of a list of some scheming businessman's idea to rob us of our money please don t get caught in this stupid frenzy. Further here is why I believe Taj is at the bottom( despite so many votes which it would be getting from India). There is a clause in NOWC's Terms and Conditions which mentions that it "reserves the right at its absolute discretion to exclude [any] votes" that are cast. No wonder we are down at the bottom so that the more we vote, the more they mint us. The links which I visited to find out the truth - ?
