World's first LCD monitor with a 50000:1 contrast ratio
We saw it, we loved it: the Predator is one bad-ass gaming rig, and it now comes with an equally cool monitor. The G24 boasts an insane contrast ratio of 50,000:1; imagine Diablo 3 on this baby! The 24-inch monitor also continues the orange and black theme of the Predator rig and supports HD content, with a native resolution of 1920x1200. Bringing the rest of the specs home, we see an excellent 2ms refresh rate (probably gray-to-gray), and a 400nit brightness. The monitor also features some marketing mumbo-jumbo (the Acer CrystalBrite technology, if you must know) that promises to reduce ambient light reflections for a much cleaner and sharper on-screen image.

Come on...Building your own gaming rig and modding it is way more fun and satisfying than buying this or even an alienware... And most hardcore gamers prefer that anyway. These are for those (rich) people who want an insanely FAST computer, not necessarily a GAMING rig.
