Acer has launched two new (home) desktops under its Aspire series; the Aspire IE-3216 and the Aspire IE-3460.
The IE-3216 is powered by Intel Pentium Dual Core processor E2160 (1.8 GHz) while the IE-3460 is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo Desktop processor E4600 (2.4 GHz). Both machines come with a 19-inches wide TFT display, system memory of 1GB RAM DDR2 upgradeable to 2GB, and 160GB SATA 7200 RPM hard disk drive.
Both desktops come with 16X DVD-R/W Super-Multi Drive for viewing and burning DVDs, listening to music, and storing data. They each have 8 elegant USB ports (four at the top and four at the rear) with Neon LED lighting enabling interfacing with other input/output devices. They come with slim keyboards with soft-touch keys, blue LED lighting, 17 hot-keys, and a volume knob. The desktops come with new Creative stereo speakers and bundle together an education CD pack.
The Aspire IE-3460 is available for Rs 25,999 and the Aspire IE-3216 for Rs 22,999.
