Samsung India has today announced a slew of products including new LCD monitors, projectors, and digital photo frames.

Of the new LCD monitors, the T monitors promise enhanced picture quality and sport a touch-of-color (TOC) design with a hint of amber blended naturally into Samsung's traditional piano black bezel frame.

The T monitors come with a 20000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 2 milliseconds response time, and 16.7-million color panel. Samsung claims the monitors use only 0.3W of power in power-off mode and 34~45W in operation-mode.

T monitors come in 19-, 20-, and 22- inches wide display models and are priced between Rs 12,500 and Rs 15,500.

The other new series of LCD monitors, "Lime", sport a soft minimalist design with black high-gloss cabinet and soft curves. Lime monitors come with a 3 mega pixels Web cam, dynamic contrast ratio of 8,000:1, 5 milliseconds response time, VoIP feature optimized for chatting and video-conferencing, speaker, and microphone. They bundle Samsung-ArcSoft WebCam Companion software that allows users capture videos and images. Thanks to the software's motion detection feature, videos are captured as soon as motion is spotted, claims Samsung. These monitors are available in 19-, 20-, and 22- inches screen sizes, and are priced between Rs 14,000 and Rs 17,000.

The other new Myst range of monitors come in a stylish white and black design with crystal deco bar and crisp picture display. They offer a dynamic contrast ratio of 20,000:1 and a fast response time of 5 milliseconds.

Samsung's third new series LCD monitors introduced today, "Myst Plus", comprises eight models in sizes ranging between 17-inches and 22-inches, and priced between Rs 9,800 and Rs 18,000.

Among other things, Myst Plus monitors come with HDCP support and dual input of D-sub DVI.

In addition to LCD monitors, Samsung India has launched its full HD 1080p projector A800. A800 is powered by DLP 1080p film technology with 95 percent aperture ratio and 16 milliseconds response time. Other features include a 1080p 24-frame true film mode and contrast ratio of 10,000:1. The A800 comes for Rs 350,000.

Apart from monitors and projectors, Samsung has introduced its SPF-83H digital photo frame that comes with an internal memory of 128 megabytes. The SPF-83H is priced at Rs 9,900.
