For users who desire both HD A/V entertainment and extensive multitasking capabilities on the move

After launching a variety of new products under its Eee family in the fast growing netbook segment, ASUS seems to be concentrating on the mainstream notebook segment again. The company has launched its F50 and F70 range of notebooks to cater to the needs of mobile entertainment enthusiasts.

The ASUS F50 and F70 combine cutting-edge design with innovative multimedia features tailored specifically for users who desire both HD A/V entertainment and extensive multitasking capabilities on the move.

Coming to the specs, the ASUS F70SL has a 17.3-inch screen and features dual HDD support with support for up to 1TB of storage; younger sibling ASUS F50GX has a 16-inch screen equipped with the NVIDIA 9400M G motherboard with an integrated GPU. HD audio quality is standard in both the notebooks along with support for 16:9 full HD display. An HDMI port allows users to connect their notebooks to larger external LCD displays or other HDMI-capable devices.

The ASUS F50 and F70 range of notebooks also feature ASUS Express Gate, which enables the notebooks to boot up quickly to a built-in icon-based OS.

In all, ASUS has launched three notebooks, one belonging to the F70 series and the other two to the F50 series. For more details and specifications of the notebooks, visit www.asus.com.
