ASUS G71 Quad Core Notebook for Gamers

A quad-core processor beats at the heart of this 17-inch beast
AsusTek has announced a very powerful notebook which will make Alienware, Voodoo and its ilk bite the dust. They have unveiled the G71, touted to be the world's first QX9300 Quad Core processor enabled notebook.
Thinking from a gamer's perspective, Asus has decked this notebook with a 17-inch Crystal Shine display with a response time of 8ms, an NVIDIA GeForce 9700M GT with 512MB GDDR3, up to 4GB RAM, and two drive bays for a total of 1TB storage space (500GB X 2).
A new feature in the G71 is Direct Console 2.0 which is an all-in-one gaming control interface. It allows the user to overclock the processor in three preset modes, offers programmable lighting, one-touch buttons to launch a game, and in-game command support.
Rounding up the features, the notebook includes a Direct Messenger (MSN), HDMI port, Wi-Fi, optional Blu-Ray writer, Dolby, a 2-megapixel webcam and Asus Eee Stick support.
