American Power Conversion (APC) has announced addition of the Mobile Power Pack to its popular range of mobility solutions.
According to company sources, the Mobile Power Pack's sophisticated design complements today's mobile devices, including MP3 players, mobile phones, and portable gaming systems. Smaller than a deck of cards, this innovative device delivers hours of extra battery power for those gadgets consumers need most while on-the-go.
Pankaj Sharma, Country General Manager APC, ISB region, said, "Mobile device users continuously face the risk of running out of power. With increasing dependence on these devices for work and play, the need for power is vital. APC has built upon its expertise in power availability and protection to create the Mobile Power Pack. Consumers can rely on this rechargeable battery to keep their essential mobile devices operating long after an internal battery would have run out of power."
According to APC, the Mobile Power Pack utilizes lithium polymer battery cells, an advanced battery technology with a higher power density than traditional lithium ion cells, to create a compact solution with high power output.
Compatible with a wide range of mobile devices, the Mobile Power Pack can generate up to 55 hours of additional music time for an MP3 device such as the iPod Nano, and 8 to 10 hours of additional email and talk time for smart phones such as the BlackBerry or Palm Treo. It weighs slightly more than 3 ounces.
The product comes as a package with Mobile Power Pack, an AC to USB power adapter, and a USB to Mini B power cable included. The Mobile Power Pack charges most mobile devices using manufacturer cables. It is priced at Rs 3,898.
