50-inch OLED Display From Samsung

Set to showcase it at the CES
OLED technology has seen much progress recently, and Samsung seems to be leading from the front. Earlier if it was with the foldable OLED display on a cellphone that was displayed a few days ago, now it is with a 50-inch OLED display; it is rumored that the company is all set to showcase it at the CES in Las Vegas early next year.
While a 50-inch display might not turn heads in a place where last year a 150-inch plasma monster was showcased, this being an OLED display makes it that much more special. For the record, the largest OLED display in existence happens to be a 40-incher that was (again) displayed by Samsung earlier.
To graduate to a 50-incher would be a 'jump' in the right direction; however, it will take a while for OLED displays to match the cost effectiveness of plasma or LCD displays.
