Hate switching your hand from keyboard to mouse? Correcting the same spelling errors over and over again?

6. Just above that, in Press new shortcut key:, use a keyboard combo you think is suitable. Note that you cannot use the Windows Key. Anything with Ctrl or Alt or Shift combined with a letter is suitable. Also note that if you enter a combo assigned to some other key, it would instantly show up here. (See screenshot.) My key combo Ctrl + Shift + A is already assigned to AllCaps, so I'll have to select another key to avoid a conflict. Always check Currently assigned to: before you proceed.

7. I've selected Alt + A as my keyboard shortcut to assign Red to any text I type or select. It is safe to use this shortcut, becauase Currently assigned to: shows [unassigned]. Remember to have simple shortcuts that don't require acrobatic finger movements. Hit Assign.

8. Also make sure that Save Changes in: shows up as Normal.dot. "Normal.dot" is the default template that opens up for any new Word file you create. Selecting this would ensure that the assigned shortcut will work uniformly across all Word documents and not just the specific document you're working on at the moment.

You sure cannot export the autocorrect options, but you can surely carry it around when switching computers... i simply copy the entire folder C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Microsoft and replace it in a new system.. just be sure to close MS Word before replacing the folder... there.. its done.. now open word and u have the autocorrect entries from your old system.... BTW.. IF U THINK 2003 IS A DINOSAUR.. I PERSONALLY LIKE 2000.. wot wud u call it... ;)

Office 2003 may be a dinosaur, but it is much more stable and usable than the not-so-new mutant on the block--office 2007

2K3 sucks compared to 2K7. 2K7 is a complete makeover.

You can also use PhraseExpress instead of autocorrect.
