Sony Ericsson K220 - Rs. 2,469

The Sony Ericsson K220 is one phone that proves Sony Ericsson's capability to provide with mobile solutions even in the lower order of their phones. The K220 has a larger screen (1.6-inch) and comes with a camera and though it's just VGA, it's acceptable at this price point.

The phone has a meager internal memory of 2 MB that will get exhausted sooner than you know. This phone has GPRS and a WAP browser to leverage the screen completely. It's also capable of RDS FM and has an Infrared port for minimalistic transfers.

Nokia 1680 - Rs. 2,629

The Nokia 1680 is loaded with features and is priced aggressively, perfect for the Indian market. This one too has a VGA camera, which can record video and has a 32 MB of internal memory to store its media. The phone sees a 1000 entry phonebook and can provide 7 hours of talktime.

The phone has EDGE along with GPRS for faster connectivity and a WAP 2.0 browser to make optimum use of the same. It's awfully light and has a sharp screen. The only thing sadly missing in the phone is an FM Tuner.

what about low end sets with music players????

Makers of low end phones should dispense with the camera completely and restrict features to FM / MP3, better battery life and screen

Hi TT. Can we have a list of phones having mp3 player but wihtout cameras. I checked out in mkt, they say production of gud phones like Sony Ericsson's M600 has been stopped. Hence, a list of such phones that are available in market today will be really helpfull. Thank You.

Please include the details about FM availability in the technical comparison. Also it wud be better if you can provide a list of accessories available with each handset.
