Best Style Phones

If you prefer style over performance, here are a few phones that have flaunt value and will grab attention.

It's been long since we covered the best style phones in the market. Phones that have the flamboyance and flaunt value that put every other phone around them to shame; such are phones that we will be featuring in this article.

Well, almost all manufacturers have tried to create these fashionable handsets. It hasn't been a one sided game where just one company has tried to create all good looking handsets. This gives us a variety to choose from.

I've listed the handsets in correspondence to their release dates in the market.

Nokia 8600 Luna

Coming from the Nokia 8-Series, the 8600 Luna, with its stunning looks, has an appetite to kill the appeal of almost every other handset around it. Its body is made of all exquisite materials. With a complete stainless steel black body and chrome lines running around it, the phone has been designed to grab attention. Except for the display area, there is an encapsulating smoked glass cover that runs around the handset.

The illuminated alphanumeric keypad under the smoked glass really looks good. However, the Luna is quite heavy at 140gm. But again, it is a matter of taste and I for one like phones that weigh a bit but only if they have the build to carry it.

Now the 8600 Luna is a phone that concentrates more on its looks than functionality. The phone is just given the bare necessities when it comes to functionality. So only expect your calls and texting to be taken care of with ease, the rest of it is questionable.

Thanks a lot for your reply Mr. Frazier! I do agree with you this time that this was an article for stylish phone and not abt designer phones (at least it was meant for stylish phone). However I do not understand your criteria for selecting stylish... You have mentioned phones from across the section. From Rs 10,000 to 55,000. From multimedia phone to business phones and further to Nokia 8800 artre (which is itself in a different class altogether). And further, when you mention 8800, then what is the need to again select a stripped down version if it (i.e.Luna). If your reader is confused, then that is primarily because your article is confusing and lack focus. I really do not understand your criteria of selecting a stylish phone... How did you limit your selection... Please do mention.

Really disappointing article! What is the point to mention LG KF 510 when LG has a better phone LG KF 750 Secret, which has won many awards for it design. It is really a designer phone. The reviewer does not has a comprehensive knowledge on the recent developments in the mobile phone market. What is the piont of not mentioning any phone from Samsung. I personaly feel that Samsung Omnia deserve to be mentioned, at least when you are mentioning business phones in this segment. At least it is a better phone than Nokia Luna. If you talk of designer phones - then what abt Nokia Vertu, Porsche etc.... Mr. reviewer do your homework PROPERLY.

This article looks at Stylish Phones and not Designer Phones, Vertu is a brand of designer phones. I would have mentioned the RAZR2 D&G and Ferrari had this article been about designer phones. The Porsche phone doesn't really seem like a stylish phone more like a brick of metal and I agree its got gr8 build quality. The LG KF750 isn't available in the market and I haven't seen the real handset as well. As for the Omnia from Samsung I think you should see the phone in person and then make your decision if it should feature in this article.
