Meizu's M6SE PMP

Jun 11, 2007 1249 hrs IST

Some more info about the latest PMP from Meizu. What format it'll support, the launch date and more has been revealed.

Meizu has been tempting people with tiny details of its latest project - the M6SE PMP - every few weeks. Recently it has been announced that the 7mm thick enclosure will support MPEG4, MPEG2, WMV9, H.263/264 and RM (VB) movies at 720 x 480 resolution (30fps), and include a TV out. Supposedly, M6SE can last for 30hrs of music playback whereas video playback lasts for 3 to 5 hours.

The only low point right now is that the previously mentioned launch date scheduled in August has been postponed to the fourth quarter.

Let me make you guy's very clear that the M6 does not support any MPEG formats, this player will play only AVI with the 18 to21fps with the 320 X 240 conversion, the Video playback is up to 6 to 8 hours. I recently saw this model in UK where my friend is using this. Its performance in terms of video picture clarity and sound is really great. The one I saw supports 8gb capacity flashdrive. It seems it costed him close to 90 GBPounds.
