A gigantic flash HDD!
The Best of :
Fusion IO 640GB Flash HDD promises insane read and write speeds (compared with what we're used to) - 800 MBps and 600 MBps respectively. These are DRAM speeds, making the HDD drive way faster than any other standard HDD on the planet. For all of that performance you pay USD 19,000 (Rs.7,60,000) - an even more insane price tag. The drive sits on a PCIe card slot.

Just another example of how a company tries to cheat ppl in the name of technology. Don't park ur money in this. Same capacity will be avbl in a USB key in 2 yrs.

Thats true..... The price Tag is too high... i mean logically companies would use RAID setups with RAPTOR HDDs and can achieve that speed at less than half the price..!! So for now it looks good only in the hands of the model...!!!! ha ha

price will be high since it is a new tech and still offers such a massive capacity. But expect it to become 'very affoardable' before the q4 of 2008.
